Role: Senior UI Designer
Focus: Design System & Visual Identity

Goal:

Lead the UX and UI design for ScoreBig’s mobile app—a ticketing platform offering interactive seat maps and discounted tickets for sports, concerts, and theater events. The project focused on redesigning the purchase journey, from discovery to checkout, while modernizing the visual language and improving usability.

Approach:

Conducted UX research to understand user needs, pain points, and decision-making behaviors around ticket purchasing.
Developed the information architecture for search, selection, seat mapping, and checkout flows.
Designed a custom icon set and onboarding experience to support a clean, modern interface and faster user comprehension.
Partnered closely with product and engineering to validate design decisions through prototyping and iterative testing.

Built a first-time user onboarding flow to guide customers through the key steps of finding and purchasing discounted tickets.
Ran multiple rounds of usability testing to refine navigation patterns, optimize seat map interactions, and simplify the purchase journey.
