Global Rebrand / Illustration
OVERVIEW

One of the largest music festivals was in need of a major facelift.

I was approached for this project for my illustration style, and was given the creative opportunity to lead the illustration and visual direction for a full rebrand of the iconic festival.

Direction:
Create an exciting atmosphere by combining my own style and vibrant direction with the brand’s eclectic history.

Requirements:
Provide Original Character Artwork / Sketches,
Create Moodboards, Color Comps, Develop Visual Design Library specific for each country, Lead design direction and provide guidance to design teams

Each festival featured characters that represent different music genres. The characters became a large central part of the festival's identity, featured on tickets, merch, web, mobile, billboards, and stage designs.

Web-based promotional microsites featuring interactive games, ticket giveaways, and merch promotions. Redesigned the festival app UI with new features.

Each city's website featured tailored artwork, typography, and color systems. Delivered motion graphics for digital campaigns, broadcast spots, and social content.

Tickets, Apparel & Promotional Material

Designed graphics and illustrations for ticket packaging, licensed merchandise, and promotional material. A new line of clothing was introduced yearly for all festivals.

FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE
Welcome to Lollapalooza

Across the cities, billboards entice viewers with the lineup, building anticipation. Upon entering the festival, guests are greeted by large entryways filled with exciting artwork. Once inside, photo ops and merchandise are all around. Giant stages filled with artwork, adding to the energy of the music that awaits.
