Vixlet is a content sharing app helping brands grow their audience through a skinnable interface designed to cater to each affiliated brand

Role: Lead UX/UI Designer / Brand Strategy
Worked with Senior UX/UI Designer to lead Design team
EARLY DESIGNS
The original designs were a category system which allows users to collect content and share socially.
Company would ultimately team up with brands to grow their followers within the Vixlet app.

Problem:
Designs were still in early concept phase, lacking clear functionality and style. Concepts were not communicating the message of connecting various brands with the app
SOLUTION
Content Categories:
Incorporating colors to organize each lifestyle category.
Artwork represents different interests within each lifestyle
EMBLEM UX LAYOUT
Organized Hexagons to fit into the screen for an endless collection
GAMIFICATION OF EMBLEMS
A unique system which allows users to subscribe and upload media by collecting and creating unique emblems that function as virtual game pieces. The emblem crystallizes with higher levels of engagement.
BADGE NOTIFICATIONS
Badge notifications designed into the emblems to notify users of timed-released, locked, and official branded content
MOTION DESIGN
Motion design for onboarding intros and advertisements
